Your recipe was good! I added a few things! ( all done in the air fryer! )
Cut and split a couple dozen brussel sprouts!
Cut several onion leaks as I call them…..
Liberal spreading of bacon bits and olive oil!
Shaken, shaken, shaken, shaken
Left to sit a few minutes in the bowl they were shaken in!
Before adding to the air fryer! I put in a couple chopped Roma tomato’s and seasonings! Not limited to pepper, Himalayan salt, etc with a splash of thin soy sauce!
Cooked for about 15 minutes…..
To Just a touch of crunch!
Also Leslie, if you would like to know where you get the sprouts taste from! Blame uncle dean! If he wasn’t preaching he was eating…..
I have figured out to do! I have a full set of the Bonita pro’s….
Through this I have had to have some damaged pieces replaced! Oddly not being required to send anything back!
Now somewhere along the line I acquired a full 6 setting set of the Bonita pros and a full plate set of the regular bonita series! ( don’t ask me, I haven’t a clue! )
So since I’m more of a bonita pro type guy. I decided to use the non pros as daily’s and the pros for entertaining!
( the only difference between the 2 is the pro has a straight edge on the side of the plate. While the regular has a curved edge!
Exhibit A – top shelf Bonita pro’s! middle shelf regular Bonita’s! Yes I have the center supports I still have to put In So the shelves don’t bend!
Now along the same lines as the dishware. I had an issue where they sent me to many 16oz cups! So they sent me the tall boys I actually ordered, free of charge!
Now I have an extra set of 16oz hand blown glasses I can give as a present…
Yet I will need to order another set of the tall boys to balance the set out…..
So other than that, it all turned out well!
Oh and the plastic glass and bowls? Those were the kids and I can’t part ways with those…..
We not the same! I’m the guy who used his case of beer as the weight on the lawn de-thatcher. Broke a bottle doing it! Let it sit in the garage for 3 years. Then finally decides to wash them off to remove the stuck on glass pieces and put them in the fridge!
Yea we are not the same…..
Considering that case of beer has been in my possession for about 7 years…..
Gunna find out if it’s still good later tonight with dinner!
FYI, stuffed peppers and onion rings I will be making for dinner tonight! Who’s in?
The new job they have this rack that employees can take what they want! fer free!
So little by little I have been trying the merchandise! I will say the salad kits are ok! I say that cus I’m a fat fuck and they don’t put enough dressing in each kit! in my opinion….
The produce is excellent! Those romas fucking rock! Imho! Juicy, ripe and flavorful! Onions and potato’s are well, the usual!
The bags of broccoli and Brussel sprouts are good! Tight, crisp and veggie’ Licius…..
I also scored a large bottle of thin soy sauce! Which I know will taste great in my next batch of homemade ramen….. as soon as I figure out what the fuck thin soy sauce is….. 🙂
Well that sucks! I put these riblets into the crock for a long slow burn until tonight!
What I didn’t know is there is no low on this crockpot, Besides warm! So after being in there all night I wake up to make sure it’s cooking and the fucker was boiling! wtf?
So there goes that plan of having fresh out of the oven pulled pork sandwiches for dinner! So what does this mean now miihaa?
This means I will have to let the pork riblets cool down and pull the bones by hand before eating! Luckily the bones are all pretty much the same. So I’ll slap on some rubber gloves and start fishing by hand!
Over all oddly, the meat turned out well! I definitely seasoned this heavy since it was a crock and not bbq! The recipe I used is simple…..
A bag of fresh riblets from winco ( cub foods if your in the upper midwest! )
1 full beer
1 Polska kielbasa
A healthy dose of Worcestershire sauce!
2 cups of hog broth
Half bottle bbq sauce
And any veggies you may want to have with the food! I chose red potatoes!
For bread I’ll be using these cheese rolls I found at Safeway on discount…..
When I had decided to just give up all the old shit in the kitchen. I don’t realize what sort of inspiring adventure it would turn out to be!
So with that said, here is what my middle of the road price choices brought my way!
The glasses, oh my goodness are each pieces of art! Each one hand blown glass. All different from the next! Found 16oz glasses 6 for $15 bought 2 of those sadly! Should have bought more! 🙁 for presents!! While adding a 24 oz set for the thirsty! Size difference distinguishable by design or lack of!
The Dinnerware definitely made me feel Bonita! An unusual design plate with good sized salad plates, salad bowls and soup bowls! Full set of 24 for under $100! As I plan to entertain on occasion. I added an addition 6 dinner plates! Makes a nice balanced set!
The coolest pieces I picked up were the silverware! I really questioned my decision as fancy laser engraved silverware just sounds cheap and low rent!
Was I wrong! I picked up the 40 piece set in smoked black and a 20 piece set in gold! After opening the box I was definitely pleased with my decision! They are not light nor heavy! Perfect weight with a cool, somewhat classy design engraved!
Only time will tell how well the design holds up! Not to mention they are anodized stainless steel…..
Oh and my ramen bowls! I can’t wait to make my next batch of home cooked ramen! 80oz bowls are perfect size! 40oz are perfect for top ramen and my kashee and granola addiction!
