The bad news! The shipping on this is far more than previously expected from Italy! No way in hell would I pay €150.00 euro! Fuck I complained about the $100 usd I originally spent!
So unfortunately this piece will stay in Italy!
Luckily I had more than one option! So the new umbrella/katana rack will be…..
I need to mop the floors again! I really got to hire that maid service! Once a month to clean the toilets showers and mop the floors!
Everything else I can do. But maintaining 3 bathrooms by myself is kinda a weekend excursion on top of everything else I gotta do this summer! Grrrr!
Anyhoot, what do any yall know about bamboo flooring? I’m thinking since the builder installed linoleum is coming do for replacement?
The house is already set up for hardwood flooring. The original owners didn’t install it. Since all the major prep work is pre-done it’s definitely an idea!
( ie…. The door jams are already about an inch taller….. )
But I bought some bamboo planking a while back for shelving and love the texture and durability! I’m thinking of maybe putting that same water proof bamboo in all the rooms with linoleum?
I really don’t like tile idea except In the showers! I do know I want a massive claw tub in the kids old bathroom! Or even removing the master bath shower and putting in a claw tub….
Yet I want a completely water proof flooring like bamboo without the pain in the ass work of tile…..
I’m not a clean freak but I do love me some cleanliness without the work…..
Oh and I already have the plans to replace all the doors in the house with glass doors! Like old school business offices? Puting the kids names on them etc etc…..
Mrs. Leslie B – school teacher
Ms. Carrisa B – gas station attendant
Mr. Lawrence B – gods gift to truck drivers, crypto consultant, and internet brainiac…..
Cost $6.99 on Amazon for the switch! 5 minutes of my time and I found where that ball rolling noise is in the dryer is coming from!
How did I learn to do this? I grew up very fucking poor! I mean we didn’t get our first sports car until I was in middle school! Yea buddy!
The door switch is simple! Remove the 2 screws holding the lint trap in place on top of the dryer!
Then towards the front corner of the dryer top insert a large screw driver and twist! Do that on both corners and that will release the top.
Slowly lift up incase you’re missing something, like a screw etc!
I’m impressed as this dryer is well over 10 years old and that belt looks pretty good! Not to mention it’s not that dirty in there….. notice my awesome move of using a long screw driver to hold the top up? Pro fucking move brah! 🙂
Anyhoot, unhook this wire….. use a small screw driver to pry the connector over the retaining thingys!
Then accidentally get yourself stuck in the dryer ladies. Call me and I will come save you! 🙂
Then get down and remove the 2 screws holding the switch in! it’s in the door jam by the way!
Then just remove old switch! Mine was flopping around like your old man’s dick before his viagra!
To put the new one in just do these steps in reverse! Making sure the actual black part of the switch is as far from the dryer as possible!
See it there top right corner…..
If you do it the wrong way. The switch won’t activate….. as it will be compressed to the dryer body!
Oh did I mention if you get yourself stuck In the dryer ladies. I will seriously come and save you! Really!
I might call you step mom but don’t worry about that….. 🙂
I Be doing next week! Yup, I’ve never understood why they use particle board on cabinets that have water near them?
Don’t laugh, the plumbing fix works! The previous owners cracked the main drain line intake. That’s what all that caulking is on that black tube! So doing anything other than this. Is a waste of money till I call a plumber out!
Works great except for today when I threw to much lettuce in the disposal…….
Update ***** a new seal fixed my drip issue! ( you can see the old seal on the paint can….. ) And yes ROFLMAO! The trap is below the actual drain! Has worked for years! So when it stops I might actually call out a plumber! 🙂
We’re getting excited! They came and picked up our old garbage cans and soon, soon they will deliver us some shiny new ones! Ewwww!
P.s., I never understood why they do that! I have the same size bins as the previous account! Yet now that it’s in my name. They insist on bringing me new cans! ROFLMAO! Ok, we will be waiting on bated breath until the new ones arrive! 😉
Just an update to all you people who bought nest co / fire detectors 10 years ago! Your alarm is a worthless piece of shit now and must be replaced! How do I know? My hardwired alarms decided to alert me every 5 minutes last night! Nothing in the app or on the control buttons will stop the madness!
You have to disconnect them and remove the batteries to get the nightmare to stop! Since they are hardwired, that would mean you bought both at the same time!
Which means you will have to disconnect both at the same time! They will not stop alerting you until you do…..
The only replacements available are from first alert and they will connect with your old beats that haven’t expired yet!
App connectivity is a hard thing to find in smoke detectors and co meters! Search wisely and make sure they are UL listed!
