Even my leftovers…..

Are better than your fast food heart attack bullshit…..

Oh and I couldn’t decide on bread for tomorrow nights grub. So I went with both…..

I’m thinking either one will go good with the sausage and mushroom sauce….

I’m making…..

Sghetti for dinner tomorrow! What bread besides garlic bread goes good with angel hair sghetti?

Tonight is left overs night! Sorry ladies…..

Omg….

I’m calling them fa’jit’as…..

Beef, butter nut squash, baby corn, yellow potatoes, snow pee, English cucumber, yellow peppers, onion, pear, carrot….

Topped with a sticky honey bbq sauce, Romain lettuce, Roma tomato, sour cream!

Cooked till a nice crunch on the veggies!

Why all these cooking posts? I spent the last 30 years eating road food! Nothing even close to what I’m eating every night at home! This stuff is gormet compared to road food!

So yea, I’m having a fucking blast…..

Dinner was…..

My take on a sheetz burger wrap! Not bad! Didnt have any boom boom sauce! Yet Still pretty darn tooten good!

A tortilla with Romain lettuce, onion and cheese! Burger cut in half and wrapped like a soft taco! Mmmmmm!

Omg that was…..

Awesome! Deep fried tofu with steamed broccoli and a veggie stir fry so to speak!

It turned out better than expected. Considering I’ve never used a wok before!

The secret to frying the tofu is draining first. Cutting into about 1” chunks and tossing them in the wok oil little by little.

You know it’s done when the outside is golden brown and the inside is this beautiful hot mushy goo!

Usually I just drizzle teriyaki on them and eat right at the stove! So good!

Also decided on a stir fry! Yellow / orange peppers with apple chunks, red potato / mushrooms a few left over broccoli that didn’t fit into the steamer!

I just cooked that with light soy sauce and a drip of teriyaki sauce, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce!

Oh and the only seasoning I used on the tofu was garlic powder and pepper…..

I also used these sauces to brighten up the mix…..

Oh it’s really….

Happening, hot stuff!

Finally finished clearing out the pantry! Jesus Christ most of that was junk food and expired shit!

Oldest found food item in there…..

Honey doesn’t count! That shit will literally last for ever! If it crystallizes just put it in a pot of water on the stove and it will melt back to its originality!

How do I know this?

That was my uncles bee farm. I helped spin and bottle damn near everyone of those bottles when I was a kid!

I was banned from hiving when a bee got in my helmet and stung my face. Which in turn led to a massive head and a ride to the hospital!

So I was reduced to spinning and bottling! 🙂

And yes I did lick my fingers a couple times when I was spinning….. 🙂

Omg…..

So that’s how you bitches make rice that’s not sticky! You fake phonies! 🙂

Not one sticky grain! Mother fucker!

Omg that’s really good!

White rice with teriyaki sauce…..

Ohhhh…..

We a cooka my first 3 cup o rice! This thing is definitely cool! I bought it for the fact it cooks rice, steams and does some other shit I won’t use!

The steam and rice thing is big for me! I do love me some steamed veggies…..

Stay tuned, in about 45 minutes I’ll let you know how it cooks…..

I wok you…..

Like a hurricane and I make you fried rice to go…..

ROFLMAO! I must be tired! I completely spaced I ordered this from the 82nd dr freddies! Cus I went to pick it up by the house and the dudes like nah, dude! You didn’t order from here!

Then I finally decided to look at the order email! ROFLMAO!

FYI, I could have ordered from Amazon! Yet that $20 off coupon from freddies made it cheaper……

Who’s ready…..

For some tofu? It’s gunna be spectacular! As soon as I fire out how to cook rice that doesn’t stick…..

Crazy lady who has yelling fits at herself while walking. Decided to show me her tits from across the street today! She most definitely has nice tits!

Oh and I saw a really big set of tits today! That’s a story for another time! 🙂

Ya snooze….

Ya loose ladies! That was by far the greatest burger I’ve ver made! I have never taken a bite and been transported with multiple flavors! Bite after bite!

I fried some shrooms and onions in a ginger and scallion sauce!

While that was cooking I de-rooted the live lettuce and waited to wash until right before puting on the burger!

Live lettuce!

Threw the corn on the cob into the air fryer. It was frozen and upon the unfreezing process it started to soften. The air fryer helped dry it out and add a taste of bbq to each ear!

After that I slapped some butter on each half of the bun and toasted those a couple minutes each!

Slapped the meat in the pan. About 1/2lb pork / beef burger for each patty! Cooked those on 7 or 8 until almost cooked through!

Washed the lettuce and began building!

I washed 1 side of the bun with mayo/Portland ketchup and a tinge of spicy green chilie mixed together!

Assembly was simple!

Bottom bun, patty, live lettuce, onion mushroom mix, Roma tomatoes…..

Cut in half and pigged the fuck out! So good! I literally had a new flavor on each bite! Including a peach whiskey bbq sauce I applied during cooking! It was a stunning taste of my abilities!

Oddly no fresh cheese was used in this recipe…..

Tonight’s dinner…..

Will consist of pork/beef burger on fancy buns with fresh onion, live lettuce and ( I have to go buy fresh cheese! ) .

Side dished With corn on the cob and fresh broccoli slaw!

God damn…..

I’m getting really good at this shit! My weekend pho’ / ramen cook!

Pretty simple! Put a box of chicken broth in a pot! Along with 4 cups about that size of water and a heaping helping of beef bullion!

Get to a boil! Add your flavorings! Mine is a splash of boxed wine, suntory whiskey, worshister, light soy sauce, liquid smoke, teriyaki and some green chili for a touch of spice!

While that’s coming to a boil. I chop and add my veggies! Onion, peppers, and portobello shrooms were my choice this time!

While that’s boiling a fry my meat! I used left over ham and top sirloin today! Cooked medium!

Then I toss that into the pot to finish cooking! Then I grab my noodles! Today’s were ramen style stir fry noodles! I pan fry for a few minutes with some soy sauce and butter!

When those start sticking to the pan. I turn off the stove and begin serving! The “ soup” will be really hot so it will finish cooking the noodles!

Put in noodles, ladle in some soup, veggies and meat!

There ya go! Some really good home cooked pho/ramen! Made in under 30 minutes!
