by RoachKiller Just an update to all you people who bought nest co / fire detectors 10 years ago! Your alarm is a worthless piece of shit now and must be replaced! How do I know? My hardwired alarms decided to alert me every 5 minutes last night! Nothing in the app or on the control buttons will stop the madness!
You have to disconnect them and remove the batteries to get the nightmare to stop! Since they are hardwired, that would mean you bought both at the same time!
Which means you will have to disconnect both at the same time! They will not stop alerting you until you do…..
The only replacements available are from first alert and they will connect with your old beats that haven’t expired yet!
App connectivity is a hard thing to find in smoke detectors and co meters! Search wisely and make sure they are UL listed!

Through this I have had to have some damaged pieces replaced! Oddly not being required to send anything back!
Now somewhere along the line I acquired a full 6 setting set of the Bonita pros and a full plate set of the regular bonita series! ( don’t ask me, I haven’t a clue! )
So since I’m more of a bonita pro type guy. I decided to use the non pros as daily’s and the pros for entertaining!
( the only difference between the 2 is the pro has a straight edge on the side of the plate. While the regular has a curved edge!
Exhibit A – top shelf Bonita pro’s! middle shelf regular Bonita’s! Yes I have the center supports I still have to put In So the shelves don’t bend!
Now along the same lines as the dishware. I had an issue where they sent me to many 16oz cups! So they sent me the tall boys I actually ordered, free of charge!
Now I have an extra set of 16oz hand blown glasses I can give as a present…
Yet I will need to order another set of the tall boys to balance the set out…..
So other than that, it all turned out well!
Oh and the plastic glass and bowls? Those were the kids and I can’t part ways with those…..

I can wash dishes as used! So it turned out far better than expected! Cool stainless steel piece with a water drip tray, the works! Pertty cool!
Kitchen almost done! Have to box up all the old dishes etc. so I can put out the Bonita and that cool gold and black laser engraved silverware!
Matter of fact I’ll take pictures of my Bonita ware and those utensils tonight!
Oh and meyers general cleaner is the fucking bomb! Added bonus it smells nothing like simple green for those of you recently in prison!

So when I finally start work. If I have to be there at say 03:00 local time. Which is actually 05:00 central time. The pain of early starts won’t be to bad……
To the point of this post! lol, after finding out the laundry room curtain was a bed sheet. I went and ordered an actual bathroom style curtain last night!
Same color and all. I now just know that it’s an actual curtain!
Of course that area would look so much better with solid wood oak French doors but…..
The builder who built most these houses. Really had some fucking weird floor plans!
Then after last nights ant ambush. I found these 1 gallon sealed lid, wide mouth jars to put sugar and flour in! Oddly they included a white grease pen to note contents with! 🙂
Then since I was ordering, I went ahead and ordered that laundry room wall hook to hang sorts and shit on…..
