Kona on the left and French roast on the right!
A couple years supply of beer in the fridge ready to roll! Oddly, both were used as weights on the lawn de-thatcher machine….
Oh and today’s iced coffee brew and ice cream for later…..
If the store bought brands will work! Otherwise I’m gunna have to buy a grinder to make my own course ground…..
I switched from Splenda to flavored and sweetened creamer mixed with milk! Not one case of the Oregon trail yet!
I also get a small pot of water and almost bring it to a boil. Then drench the beans with that before filling the rest with filtered tap water at regular temp!
The higher temps does nothing to kill any mold that might have formed on the coffee beans. FYI!
The flavor taste has become more intense. While the strength remains the same! ( depending how much coffee I put in the filter! )
This batch I’m making special for my nephew who requested it earlier today!
Ladies! That I’ve actually been there…..
Be happy I finally bought creamer!
My whole reason for excitement to come home! The iced coffee adventure!
So there is $40 worth of iced coffee! There is 64oz of mason jars in which iced coffee is being made!
1 is coconut crème and the other is raspberry mocha!
After filling the jars with warmish water. I know have to wait 12 -24 hours for my coffee! The directions said to fill the the screens with coffee grounds!
That would make a strong concentrate! I didn’t do that as I don’t want a concentrate! I filled the screens up about half way!
I will let you know tomorrow morning on how it tastes with a 12 hour soak! Then again with a 24 hour soak!

Jar on the left is raspberry mocha! Jar on right is coconut creme’…..

Stay tuned!
