14, 19 if you include the multiple invoices for the same place, mother fucking stops today! That’s not what was the shitty part! The shitty part is the doctor prescribed me meds to make the circulation better in my legs. So they ain’t so cold!

Well that lead to me getting a whopping 4 hours of sleep last night! Tonight I’m gunna stuff my face and pass the fuck out!

The job is fine! My knowledge of said job is growing!

I can definitely do this job for a while….. it’s my new challenge…..

Hell of a day today! 11 hour shift with an additional hour dealing with benefits afterwards!

Added bonus the benefits here are 10x better than what I just left…..

10x fucking better!

Added bonus, I am having burritos with onions from the company employee coop…..

A small fortune for 2 rain jackets for work! 1 of them had better be the rain jackets of my dreams…..

Either that or 1 have them better good give head!

I’m not kidding! Which ever is the best stays! I went to Freddie’s and for the exact same price I can get a 2x which fits fine! Yet if I wear a hoodie under it it’s to tight!

So I contacted a few fishing buddies and they told me what they run! As you can see these fuckers ain’t fucking cheap!

I’m leaning more towards the top one as it has that butt protector I like on my jackets…..

Started puppy in that new food! Not an itch or a scratch in a few days!

I am finding I don’t think a 3oz can twice a day is enough! So I did buy some larger containers for her!

She hates steak, loves chicken and rice!

Yet so far no issue with her pooping or peeing on the carpet! As long as I take her for a walk at least once a day and let her out every 4 or so hours!

On a good note, she loves easy listening spa music as much as I do! 😉

The shipper fucked up and sent me a set of smaller glasses instead of the tall boys!

They made it right! So I now have an extra set of shortys to give away as a present!

New job! It’s exactly as I expected! A little more interaction with customers than I like but so far everyone has been super cool!

I now also know I need a safety jacket rain coat! One that is breathable and has the little lip on the hood and the extra round part on the bottom of the back!

Oh and I still get free soda pop!

The new job they have this rack that employees can take what they want! fer free!

So little by little I have been trying the merchandise! I will say the salad kits are ok! I say that cus I’m a fat fuck and they don’t put enough dressing in each kit! in my opinion….

The produce is excellent! Those romas fucking rock! Imho! Juicy, ripe and flavorful! Onions and potato’s are well, the usual!

The bags of broccoli and Brussel sprouts are good! Tight, crisp and veggie’ Licius…..

I also scored a large bottle of thin soy sauce! Which I know will taste great in my next batch of homemade ramen….. as soon as I figure out what the fuck thin soy sauce is….. 🙂

And cujo is not listening to a word a say! I guess this is her revenge for not pooping or peeing on the carpet while I’m at work….. 😉

See those running pants make an excellent base layer! All the ones I wear during the winter are extra thick! I personally don’t give a fuck what color they are! ( no hot pink or sexy patterns! )

But since I own 1 pair of pants that I hate wearing. I would wear these instead! Added bonus when I would have to wear my winter arctic bibs these made it much warmer….. not to mention they are super quick drying which is needed if you have to throw chains!

Anyhoot, me and the dog are keeping our new schedule even on days off! Managed to get a whole 29 hours in for the week. Which includes my 6 hour orientation and 23 hours on the road! They tell me soon I actually be allowed to drive! 😉

Oh and fyi, I really need someone to make me a picture chart of what each herb looks like! Especially cilantro and parsley!

Oh and my new sketchers work boots are also not good on slick surfaces….

I’m wasting my money on earthquake insurance in a rarely shaken part of the country!

Yup, but I lived down the road during the quake in the 90’s! Which cracked the foundation and a wall of the house we were living in at the time!

It’s a rare occurrence but ya just never know…..

First day of…..

New job went ok! ‘‘Twas tough getting through not really doing anything! Since I’m learning the ropes so to speak.

I got to run the pallet jack and deal with any lumping needed doing! Which actually helped keep me awake! Now I’m doing this without my usual overdose of caffeine!

So remember that! But was a good 11 hour shift….

My next shift I’ll be far better prepared! Now I know what I need and how it’s going to roll!

FYI, I will now call myself an expert lift gate operator!

Some of the OTR experiences I have had over th years!

Finally got to tell that one about the meat load I hauled to the stop light market there on the miracle mile in Chicago! Down by the inner city projects apartment buildings!

How they had to have an armed security guard come out and unlock and open the trailer doors and walk the trailer into the store dock. Cus there were 3 -4 people just waiting to get their hands on the boxes of meat I had in the trailer!….

That experience is always a crowd pleaser…..

Besides not buying crypto right now! I am spending way too much money on new work boots!

I would just wear my dr.martens but they suck on wet surfaces! Even though they say they work good on slick surfaces!

So I found some comfortable composite toe work boots that will get me through…..

First day of work went well! Only almost fell asleep like twice! I am not a sit and stare at a video for hours on end guy!

It was weird not having to watch the blood born pathogens and hazmat videos! Instead I had to watch “ how to secure freight on a flatbed” ( not running flatbed! ) and the most boring’est video on sexual harassment!

Like I was telling the hr lady who was doing the orientation! ( Which was cool cus it was a 1 on 1 learning situation if needed! Added bonus! She wrote “welcome Lawrence” on the overhead board! ) “ the people I work with are sexless, “ genderless!” After years of working for a company with a lot of transsexuals.

You don’t find any women attractive at work! Cus you honestly don’t know anymore who’s a chick and who’s a dude! – Sexless…..

Overall we will see how it goes! I’m looking forward to the experience! first few weeks will be the roughest! As the schedule change will more than likely rock my world!

Yet the getting out and exercising portion of the show will ease the transition a bit…..

Oh and to the neighbor who wants to see me smile more! Yea, if you come over every day after I get home from work and rock my world! I will definitely smile a lot more! 🙂

And to figure out what to do with Mika while I’m at work? We will see how that goes! I might have to buy an indoor kennel and a timed feeder…..
