I’ll tell this story again! Way back when this company had a shop over off of front street! ( lawyers tell me all I can do is regurgitate the old stories! Yet this proves my point! )
Anyhoot! I had a delivery down off front street in kc! I remember it well cus it was a hazmat load. Twas 5 gallon jugs of refrigerants!
I had come in from I-80 in Nebraska! Good couple hundred miles away from delivery! When I started I noticed a gold 70’s boat of a Lincoln continental! Don’t think anything of it! Drove the couple hundred miles into kc to deliver. Had actually started unloading. When that same Lincoln with the same grey haird geezer pulled up to the office of this warehouse!
Now I’m thinking that’s wierd! So they continue unloading and eventually I see the geezer leave! Normally I wouldn’t do this but I went inside and asked, “ is it ok if I ask about that old man that just came in here?”
They proceeded to explain that this guy was looking to either broker these loads or have his trucks run them through there broker!
Well that was odd and honestly a bit scary!
Over the years that same thing has happened quite often. Except now they can try to steal loads electronically through load boards etc… if they know where you picked up and delivered!
I have seen an increase of fired, recently wrecked and people who can’t figure out the trucking game doing the follow the leader bullshit!
Now they are using the excuse of “ road safety!” Naw, it’s a batch of cunts looking for revenge for them or there spouses either getting fired, not running or whatever red flag they are sporting this week! It’s all intimidation, load theft and harassment!
I have plenty of examples of you need them! Your own high quality employees doing this sort of stupid shit!
This place has a never ending supply of stupid! I tell everyone “it’s not trucking! It’s a bunch of princess’s playing trucking…..”
So when they actually get a good driver like me and the other very few that still work here this week. We receive the majority of the attacks from the stupid…..
