by RoachKiller Yea this thing is fabulous feeling! My guess the reason it’s nos is it has 2 small flaws! A small dent on the neck with another one on the fretboard!
Now I really just want to leave the pic guard on there! But I also know a custom factory painted pick guards go for a pretty penny! That black one I put on my American pro is from a fender aluminum strat! $200 pick guard fyi!
I also know I have an authentic fender bronze Strat pick guard the same color as the grey paint on the guitar!
I’m thinking if these pick up’s suck. I’ll load that bronze guard with a set of super 57’s ( I think they are! ) or a set of noiseless ultras!

All of mine are mx’s loaded with vintage 30’s or green backs? I believe and particle board cabinets….. time to upgrade!
It’s a tough decision though cus those mesa boogie split backs look really appealing!
