by Just an update to all you people who bought nest co / fire detectors 10 years ago! Your alarm is a worthless piece of shit now and must be replaced! How do I know? My hardwired alarms decided to alert me every 5 minutes last night! Nothing in the app or on the control buttons will stop the madness!
You have to disconnect them and remove the batteries to get the nightmare to stop! Since they are hardwired, that would mean you bought both at the same time!
Which means you will have to disconnect both at the same time! They will not stop alerting you until you do…..
The only replacements available are from first alert and they will connect with your old beats that haven’t expired yet!
App connectivity is a hard thing to find in smoke detectors and co meters! Search wisely and make sure they are UL listed!
