by The big boss told me yesterday that there would be 2 additional runs for me today when I was done with my regular route!
Lo and behold, as god as my witness. No one else knew about them “ quoting!” Ofcourse giving them away to another driver! oh but they did have 3 deliveries right down the street….
I would get mad but why? That is exactly the dog eat dog concept that’s been going on since day one here…..
Everything from blaming the new guy for no freight. To blaming the new guy cus you have additional stops.
Then in this case. Everytime I pick up steam and know a route. They make up a new excuse as to why I need to be taken off the route….
It’s the usual trucking bullshit brah! They always pick on the strongest link…..
Oh and I made a bet that those 2 extra runs would mysteriously disappear…. That’s exactly how I made my $20! 😉
Still having a fucking blast! Even broke out into a nose bleed from the stress of being told one thing and of course another thing happens…..
Oh and don’t forget to chase your paperwork while making sure to chase your customer envelopes….
Nah I didn’t forget, I just figured if I had to chase my paperwork those customer envelopes weren’t that important!
